These fluorescent lamps have a diameter of 26 mm and are easy to install in a special T8 fixture or with a fluorescent ballast.Fluorescent lamps are available in various sizes, so that larger surfaces in the terrarium or paludarium can be illuminated.

To increase thelight intensityand/or UV output, it is advisable to use reflectors and/or to place several T8 lamps together.Fluorescent lamps hardly give off any heat, which is why it is necessary to combine these lamps with a heat lamp or heat spot to create a sun spot.
